Tools

Connect company services so agents and workflows can read data and take action.

Tools let agents and workflows act in your services: read a calendar, send a message, or update a CRM. Manage workspace connectors from Tools.

Connect once, bind where needed

Connections and credential profiles belong to the workspace. An agent or workflow uses the identity bound to its tool, never a member's personal connection. Several agents can reuse the same identity.

For example, an agent can read Gmail as sales@ and write Drive files as ops@. Custom HTTP tools use a named credential profile instead.

Acts as the bound identity

No binding: no authenticated access

The workspace owns the identity. Each tool uses its explicit binding; member tokens are never a fallback.

Adding a connector does not grant every agent access. Attach its tool group, bind the identity and set approval policy for each agent.

An authorized partner can manage the customer's tools with a live partner dashboard session. Google, Microsoft, email and social connections belong to the customer workspace, while the partner operator is recorded as their creator. If the session expires or access is revoked during setup, reopen the workspace from the partner dashboard before reconnecting.

Find and maintain connectors

Open Add tools and search by service name. The catalog separates Botchi-maintained connectors from verified MCP servers. The same provider can offer both, with different tools.

On the connector page, review its identities, tools, settings, and agents or workflows using it. Follow Needs attention to resolve reconnections, missing credentials, pack updates, or MCP sync and sign-in problems.

Web tools search the web and read public pages, including JavaScript pages, with optional links or a screenshot saved to Botchi. Each page read uses provider credits. They do not log in or bypass CAPTCHA or paywalls. Prefer an API connector for structured service data.

Slack and WhatsApp connections are workspace-owned. Incoming messages start subscribed workflows; attaching their tools to an agent grants tool access. Configure inbound work through workflow triggers.
