Manage a partner
Link or remove a partner and understand the boundary of an operate session.
A linked reseller or agency can inspect your usage and operate your business dashboard on your behalf. A workspace can have at most one partner.
The partner is a company with its own Botchi account. Its operators are that account's owner and the members with dashboard editor access, and their work is paid from that account's Sparks.
Before you begin
Everyone with dashboard access can see the partner and, when the partner has set one, its support email. Only the real workspace owner can change the link, outside an operator session.
Link a partner
A new company can sign up already linked: open the link the partner shares. The signup form fills in the partner code and shows the partner's name and logo under it. The field stays editable, and the link takes effect when the company is created.
To link an existing workspace:
- Open Settings and select Workspace.
- Enter the Partner code: the part of the partner's link after
partner=. The partner's name and logo appear under the field. - Select Link partner.
- Confirm that the partner can operate with owner-level dashboard access.
A partner can replace its link; the previous one then stops working, and workspaces already linked stay linked.
To replace a partner, remove the existing link first.
Understand operator access
An operate session grants owner-level dashboard access and app Editor access. It uses the operator's separate conversations and the partner's own Sparks for AI work, app building and previews. A partner can create, edit and publish apps, including starting or reactivating their subscriptions; app subscriptions, plan upgrades and extra usage use the customer workspace’s shared pool. The partner cannot change the partner link.
- Owner-level dashboard operations
- Separate operator conversations
- App Editor access
- AI work paid from the partner’s Sparks
- App subscriptions charged to the customer workspace
- Changing the partner link
- Charging partner-covered work to your pool
Ends on exit, revocation or after 8 hours
| Area | During an operate session |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Owner-level operational access. |
| Active agents | Operator can chat using their own conversations. |
| Apps | Editor access; subscription activation and reactivation stay with your members. |
| AI charges | Paid from the partner's Sparks. An empty wallet blocks the operator's AI work. |
| Your account pool | Balance and member limits are untouched by partner-covered work. |
| History | Records zero Sparks charged and identifies the covering partner. |
Your team can continue its own work using your available Sparks even when the partner has none left.
Each session has its own address and a bar identifying the workspace and partner billing. Exit operator mode, revocation or 8-hour expiry ends that session.
Remove the partner
- Open the partner section from your regular owner session.
- Select Remove.
- Confirm removal.
Access ends immediately: operator sessions close, work the partner started stops, and the operators' conversations in this workspace are deleted.
The partner can also end the link from its own console, with the same effect.
