Members control their own operational email preferences; the screen shows the delivery address.
Where to manage preferences
| Surface | Path |
|---|---|
| Business web | Settings → Notifications |
| Personal web | Account → Email notifications |
| Mobile | Settings → Email notifications |
Disabling a category suppresses its optional notices for you only.
Categories
| Category | Notices |
|---|---|
| Apps | Draft expiry, trash and deletion, unpaid renewals, suspension and reactivation, usage warnings, autoscale charges, read-only mode and failed releases. |
| Sparks and top-ups | Low or empty balance; automatic top-ups that fail, switch off or reach the cap. |
| Subscription | Payments needing action, loss of subscription access and payment receipts. |
| Connections | Expiring credentials and connections that stop working. |
| Storage | Storage approaching or reaching its quota. |
| Automations and approvals | Failed or disabled runs and requests awaiting your approval. |
Always-sent notices
Rule — Urgent service and deletion notices remain enabled regardless of category preferences. Payment receipts are also always sent.
| Event | Why it bypasses preferences |
|---|---|
| App automatically trashed or nearing permanent deletion | Data or access needs immediate attention. |
| App suspended for billing | App service has stopped. |
| App read-only | Changes in the app are refused. |
| Sparks depleted | Work requiring Sparks is blocked. |
| Subscription access lost | Paid service access has ended. |
| Storage full | New storage is blocked. |
| Workflow disabled | Automatic work has stopped. |
| Successful positive Stripe payment | The owner receives a payment receipt. |
Categories containing urgent notices show a lock in the preferences screen. Account notices go to the owner; personal-resource notices go to the affected member.
