# Find your way around the dashboard

> Find configuration, team controls, usage and product updates from the sidebar.

The dashboard is where you configure and govern your account's AI. It opens on **Chat**, so you can ask the Assistant to inspect the account or help with setup immediately.

## Find the right area

Configuration defines what the team can use; team controls define who can use it; usage reporting shows what it costs.

| Area | What you do there |
| --- | --- |
| Chat | Ask the dashboard Assistant for help and review its proposed changes. |
| Apps, Agents, Workflows | Build shared interfaces, specialists and repeatable tasks. |
| Workspace, Studio, Panels | Maintain company files, generate media and review material. |
| Tools | Connect services and manage account credentials. |
| Team | Manage members and roles, according to your permissions. |
| Usage, Billing | Inspect consumption and manage funding. |
| Settings | Configure the workspace, account rules and models. |

Viewers have read-only dashboard access. Team and Billing visibility depend on your access level; see [Permissions](/en/docs/reference/permissions).

## Get help or switch to chat

The page's information button explains its purpose and key facts. Ask the dashboard Assistant about the current page or any feature.

The account menu includes **Personal chat**. That chat has a shortcut back to the dashboard, so you can move between administration and everyday work.

## Product updates

**Product updates** in the sidebar lists releases published since your current dashboard access was granted. Each explains the change and links to its documentation, in your selected dashboard language.

Unread updates appear at your next dashboard visit, oldest first. An update is marked read when shown, for your user in this workspace. Closing leaves unseen updates for your next visit; read status follows you across devices.

Updates published during an open visit wait until the next visit. New dashboard users do not receive earlier releases.
